Privacy Policy

POSLine is an offline-first application. That shapes everything about this policy: your sales data belongs to you, lives on your computer by default, and only goes where you send it. This page explains exactly what happens to your data and the limited situations in which anything leaves your machine.

1. Data stored on your device

All of your shop data — products, sales, receipts, settings, and license information — is stored in a local database on your computer. It never leaves your machine unless you explicitly use a feature that sends it somewhere (Google sync, export, or license activation, each described below).

We do not receive this data. We operate no servers that store your shop data, and the app works fully with all network access blocked.

2. Google Drive & Sheets sync (optional)

If you choose to connect a Google account, POSLine uses Google's sign-in to obtain permission for two things: a folder inyour own Google Drive for backups, and a spreadsheet in your Drive for sales records. Everything syncs directly between your computer and Google — it does not pass through, or get stored on, any POSLine server.

• Backups are stored in a POSLine folder inside your Drive, under your Google account's control.
• You can review, download, or delete these files at any time from Google Drive.
• You can disconnect the Google account at any time in POSLine settings, which revokes the app's access.
• Your use of Google services is additionally governed by Google's own privacy policy and terms.

3. License activation (Pro only)

When you enter a Pro license key, POSLine sends the key and a basic device identifier to our license service to verify the purchase and activate Pro. This is a one-time (or rare re-verification) exchange. It does not include your sales data, products, or anything else from your shop.

4. This website

This website does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP addresses and requested pages) for security and troubleshooting, retained for a short period.

5. What we never do

• We never sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.
• We never read your sales, products, or customer information.
• The app contains no ads and no third-party tracking SDKs.

6. Deleting your data

Uninstalling POSLine removes the app; your local database can be removed with it (the uninstaller will ask). If you used Google sync, deleting the POSLine folder and spreadsheet in your Drive removes all cloud backups. There is nothing else to delete, because nothing else exists.

7. Children

POSLine is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, announce them in the app or on this website. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
